Director, MUNNI (Bangladesh)

Tahrima Khan is a filmmaker from Bangladesh and a graduate of Public Health from Tsinghua University, China. Her first documentary, “Color of Water” was funded by the British Council, and she was awarded the International Climate Champion (ICC) award. Tahrima worked as the casting director of “Jalal’s Story,” Bangladesh’s entry to the Oscars in 2015. Her two feature films as co-producer, “Payer Tolay Mati Nai” and “Patal Ghar” are in post-production. Recently, Tahrima attended the Produire Au Sud workshop as a producer with a film project titled “The Crows.” “MUNNI” is her first feature documentary in Dhaka Doc Lab 2020, selected by IEFTA’s showcasing award at Dok Leipzig. “MUNNI” also secured the DocEdge New Zealand pitching award.
