Director, Thirteen Destinations of a Traveler (Bangladesh and India)

Partha Das, born in 1987 in Kolkata, India, is an audio-visual artist working across different media ranging from films, performances, and installation art. His works have been showcased across various art galleries and institutions including Lalit Kala (India), Alliance Française du Bengale, Modern Art Museum (Michigan) and Cultural Institute of Portugal. “Thirteen Destinations of a Traveler” is his first documentary feature, which he has been working on for the past three years. Before the film, he had spent three months on the road with the pilgrims, and had walked along with them from Delhi to Ajmer for three consecutive years in search of his characters and stories.
